Mike Epps has generated quite a buzz among his peers and within the industry for being one of the funniest comedic actors to emerge into the Hollywood scene. Now, as he continues honing his skills for his existing comedic audience, Epps ventures into a new realm of entertainment with his first dramatic role, proving his uninhibited versatility and limitless potential as a crossover talent phenomenon. This December, Epps the actor will become Epps the rapper, coming out with the CD Bad Santa for the Christmas holiday.Epps recently wrapped production on his next film endeavor Janky Promoters, reuniting with Ice Cube in the film.That film will hit theatre in March 2009.Recently, Epps reprised his role as “LJ” in Sony’s box-office franchise hit, Resident Evil: Extinction,and was also seen starring in Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, starring Martin Lawrence and Cedric the Entertainer.Epps also took on a dramatic role, opposite Don Cheadle in 2007’s Talk To Me, the Kasi Lemmons drama/biography of radio personality Ralph "Petey" Greene. He will also star in the dark comedy Next Day Air, out April 2009.
